Porth Bryn Gwydd and Ty Mawr are two small and little visited coves on the northern coast of the Lleyn Peninsula. Porth Bryn Gwydd (above) is mostly shingle backed by a small valley, and access is by a footpath from the nearby lane (Lon Cae Glas).
Ty Mawr (Grid Ref: SH261401) is just to the north, and access to the shore is along a short narrow path from the coastal path.
Parking in the nearby lane is difficult, but much easier in the village of Groesffordd by the chapel. The photos were taken around mid tide.
