Clarach Bay

Clarach Bay is just over a mile north of Aberystwyth, and looks out across Cardigan Bay. The beach is of coarse sand and shingle and flanked by cliffs of shales. On the north side a small, free parking area which overlooks the shore, next to the emergence of the Afon Clarach. Hundreds of caravans and chalets populate the holiday parks in the valley behind the bay.

Facilities include toilets, takeaways, cafes and a bar. Lifeguards patrol in summer and dog restrictions apply from 1st May to 30th September.
