Traeth Crugan

Traeth Crugan

Traeth Crugan is a quiet beach situated between Llanbedrog and Pwllheli. At the western end is the headland of Carreg y Defaid, whilst eastwards the beach continues all the way to Pwllheli. The beach is mostly coarse sand and small shingle backed by boulder clay banks with agricultural land behind. A short lane off the A499 east of Llanbedrog is wide enough for parking, and leads to a concrete path onto the shore. The coastal path runs directly behind the beach. Alternative access is from Pwllheli or Llanbedrog (1 mile).
