Porth Ychain is one of many sheltered coves on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula. It is mostly shingle, with some patches of sand. The coastal path runs along the back of the beach.
A public footpath runs directly from the nearby lane, but parking is difficult, so it's probably best to park at Porth Ysgaden and walk along the coastal path.
