Beaumaris Beach

Beaumaris is better known for its castle rather than its beach, which is a mix of coarse sand and shingle extending for a short distance either side of the pier. There is plenty of parking here on grass overlooking the Menai Strait (automatic barrier for entry). Facilities and attractions include a children's paddling pool and play area, fishing trips, cafes and bars, toilets (coin-operated) and the castle. A dog ban operates to the west of the pier from May to September inclusive.
