The north-western tip of Anglesey is a little-visited region of small, secret coves and high cliffs. Porth Gwter Fudr (Dirty Gutter Cove) lies just north of Church Bay, and is a cove of shingle, rocks and rockpools, with a small rocky tidal islet on the north side. Access from the coastal path involves following the Gwter Fudr stream down to the shore, with a short but easy climb down the rocks at the bottom. Whilst climbing down these wet rocks it would be wise not to speculate on why this stream has the name of Dirty Gutter.
