Leasowe Bay is a wide sandy beach on the Wirral's northern coast, backed by a sea wall, promenade and small dunes. A free parking area runs for about 200 yards along the back of the bach, with bays overlooking and facing the sea. There are no lifeguards here and dogs are allowed at all times. At low tide, the sea retreats over a mile revealing extensive sandbars which can be a hazard to the unsuspecting visitor.
