Porth Lleidiog is a beach of coarse sand, backed by banks of boulder clay, with rocks and rock-pools at low-tide. The nearest parking is about ¾ mile away at Aberffraw, and the beach can be reached via the coastal path along the west side of the Afon Ffraw river. It's a good beach for shell-collecting and getting away from the crowds on a busy day.
its name translates as 'Muddy Cove'. The photos were taken at mid-tide.
