Pen-y-holt Bay

These beaches are within the MoD's Castlemartin Range, and are off-limits to the general public at all times.

Pen-y-Holt Bay (above) is a beach of rocks and some small amounts of low-tide sand, backed by high limestone cliffs. Access is physically possible by walking down a gully at the western end.

Hobbyhorse Bay (Grid Ref : SR886957) lies ¼ mile east of Linney Head, and is a small bay of sand, rocks and a stack. It is often used by seals for breeding and is only accessible by climbing down to it. At low tide the beach looks out to Crow Rock, about ½ mile offshore.
