Porth Sychan

Porth Sychan

Porth Sychan is a secluded cove just under a mile east of Strumble Head, and the only accessible part of the shore between it and Fishguard. Strumble Head has free car parking at the end of the road, overlooking the sea. The coastal path can be followed to Porth Sychan. Three small streams emerging onto the shore, which is mainly pebbles and shingle. There are strong currents just offshore, but swimming within the bay is generally safe. Seals can often be seen along this stretch of coast.
