is a sandy beach situated approximately 1 mile south of the village of Dale at the mouth of the Milford Haven waterway. The beach is firm sand surrounded by low sandstone cliffs, and looks out towards West Angle Bay on the opposite side of the waterway. It is good for sailing, swimming and windsurfing, but tends to become shady late in the afternoon and evening. To get here from Dale, take the St Ann's Head road heading south for approximately three-quarters of a mile, then follow a footpath (track) on the left opposite a house. There is some space for roadside parking here. Continue south on this track for about another half a mile until you see a footpath on the left. It seems that some motorists park here as there is quite a bit of space, although the track has (rather weathered) signs prohibiting vehicular access. The footpath leads across a small field to the coast path, thence continuing down to the shore. There is also a good size free parking area at St Ann's Head. The photos were taken 1½ hours before low tide.
