Bendricks Beach

Bendricks Beach

Located between Bendrick Rock and Hayes Point, Bendricks Beach is a small beach of sandstone rocks, some sand and plenty of low-tide mud. It's backed by Sully's Atlantic Trading estate, where roadside parking can be found just behind the beach. Access to the shore is a short path across some rough ground and down the remains of a slipway. In the bedrock to the west of the slipway are some shallow depressions, which have been identified as dinosaur footprints. Flora to be found behind the beach include flixweed and sainfoin. The photos were taken at low tide.
