Crawley Beach

Crawley Beach (also known as Nicholaston Beach) is situated at the eastern end of Oxwich Bay, and is a wide sandy beach backed by the dunes of Nicholaston Burrows. The nearest parking is at Penmaen. There is a small lay-by on the south side of the road, whilst a lane on the north side of the A4118 leads across a cattle grid to parking space on the Cefn Bryn common. Good footpaths paths lead to Tor Bay, Crawley and Three Cliffs from here. Alternative parking for about 6 cars can be found on the north side of the road about a mile further on just before St Nicholas' Church. From here a footpath leads across a field and down through Nicholaston woods to the beach. Dogs are allowed at all times.

The beach looks out across the Bristol Channel towards Exmoor.
