Pink Bay

Pink Bay

Pink Bay is one of the more westerly of Porthcawl's beaches at the north-western end of Rest Bay. It gets its name from the pink marbling effect of some of the pebbles. The shore is mostly sand at low tide, backed by a pebble bank with the Royal Porthcawl golf course behind. The Wales Coastal path runs along the back of the beach on a boardwalk, and the nearest parking is at Rest Bay. Dogs are allowed at all times. It is a good surfing beach, best towards the high tide.
