Abererch Beach is a sandy beach over 2 miles long, and usually attains a Green Coast award. Westwards the sandy shore continues to Pwllheli, whilst the eastern end is bounded by the headland of Pen-ychain. The shore is backed by dunes, behind which is the Abererch Sands Holiday Centre and agricultural land. There's little shelter from any wind here, and it's a popular spot for wind-surfing.
A free parking area (cars only and 7' height restriction) is provided by the holiday park for beach visitors. This can be found just after the level crossing, and access to the beach is a level walk of about 150 yards. Abererch rail station is approximately 200 yards from the beach.
Dogs are allowed at all times.
