Also known as Hilbre Point, Red Rocks beach is at the top north-western corner of the Wirral Peninsula, and looks out towards Hilbre Islands. The shore is mostly sandy, with very little gradient - the sea will come in fast on a rising tide. Roadside parking is possible on Stanley Road, at the end of which access to the shore is a short slipway. Hoylake rail station is just under a mile away. Dogs are allowed at all times.
