Garron Pill is a quiet inlet of the eastern Cleddau, on the back road from Lawrenny which frequently floods on the evening (and early morning) high tide. There is some space for parking just off the road on the south side, from where footpaths lead off along both banks of the pill. A good circular walk is to follow the footpath on the southern side of the pill, through ancient oak woodlands overlooking the river to Lawrenny Quay, where there are tea-rooms and toilets. From here you can follow the road to Lawrenny village and back to Garron Pill.
Garron Pill is a good location for some leisurely kayaking.
