Tor Bay is a sheltered sandy beach at the eastern end of Oxwich Bay. On a low tide, it becomes part of a vast stretch of sand reaching from Oxwich Point to Pobbles Bay. It lies between the limestone headlands of Little Tor (to the west) and Great Tor - the latter being popular with climbers. The nearest parking is at Penmaen (Grid Ref SS526884) - either on the south side of the road, or just across the cattle grid on the north side of the road. From here, a good path leads to the coastal path from where a steep sandy path descends to the beach.
This beach is at its best between high and mid-tide. Dogs are allowed at all times.
